I got this along with the Baden brand equivalent. The Mikasa was hands down the better of the two. Don’t expect extended playing times though, the “glow” only last a few minutes before you will want to hold under a light to get it charged back up.

Here’s my 2 cents… The quality of the ball is good and great to play with at the beach or park and the glowing feature does work, I noticed it glowing next to my bed at 11:00 pm one night!! I have yet to play in the dark…

Aside from having a battery powered ball, this ball does just fine. I set up my volleyball court on grass at night and surrounded it with 6 tiki lamps. It would have been better if I could have used black lights and put glow in the dark paint on the net but that will be some other time. This ball glows in the dark for a decent amount of time. I’ve left it outside for a few weeks and its held up. The ball is slightly stiffer (which i prefer) but if you don’t play volleyball very often you probably won’t notice too much of a difference.
